The short version
This site uses essential cookies only — the minimum needed to log you in and keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics cookies. No consent banner is required for essential cookies under UK PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations).
Cookies we set

The Supabase session cookie is governed by Supabase's Privacy Policy.
Local storage (not cookies)
In addition to cookies, the app stores data in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to any server unless you are signed in, in which case it syncs to our Supabase database. Items stored include:
ibm_premium— your membership status (cached from your account)ibm_collection— your bird card collectionibm_id_count,ibm_id_date— daily photo ID usage counteribm_onboarding_done— whether you've completed the first-run tour
You can clear this data at any time via your browser's developer tools or by deleting your account. Clearing it will reset your local state — if you're signed in, your collection will re-sync from our servers on next sign-in.
Third-party cookies
We do not load third-party advertising or analytics scripts. If you use the Stripe checkout for a purchase, Stripe may set their own cookies on the checkout page — see Stripe's Cookie Settings.
Your controls
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the Supabase session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in. Clearing localStorage will reset your local game state (it will re-sync from the server if you are signed in).
